What is the Grade/Class Level Social program?
The goal of the program is to build a stronger community between families within the same grade or class. One way to build a stronger community and increase social interaction is by organizing group events that families can enjoy together. To encourage this social bonding, the Parent Association is providing a seedling fund of up to $12 per student (for the school year) to each grade or class level that plans a qualified event. Please see below for further details and guidelines.
Parent Association guidelines for Grade/Class Level Social program.
*Event(s) must be during non-school hours. Funds from this program may not be used for school sponsored events such as school parties, events, field trips, or any other school related items. Please see below for list of suggestions.
*If your event requires purchasing tickets, or an individual head count, the funding is limited to the students of the grade or class in which the activity is planned for, not for siblings (even if attending CCA), or parents joining.
*Reimbursement will be up to the lesser of the total event cost or total allowable budget for the classroom ($12 x # of students in classroom).
